Re: What the best rear end for bb kit Marathon?
How much wider and how do the spring pads line up?

Look at the link I posted in this thread. Should have all the specs including spring pad location.

10-4 I'm not sure as mine is going into a par car.

It looks like the spring might line up on an ezgo. Mine is kind of boogered up but I'll check when I get home.

Re: What the best rear end for bb kit Marathon?
Took me a year to find a transaxle with F/R for my EZGO Marathon project. Once every week or so during that time I would go to the Surplus Center site and look at the same transaxle you just bought. It's half the price of a new stock transaxle and the 4WD (aka PTO) shaft would be handy for future modifications. The shipping to Ontario was just too much though.

Ya ups ground to MN was just shy of $70.
This is the cheapest transaxle I could find and looks like it will be a great replacement. Guess I will find out Easter weekend. Sent from my VS950 4G using Tapatalk 2 |

Definitely wider than factory on my par car, which I love. Polaris clutch is pretty big so its a tight squeeze. Leaves about a 1/4" between my clutch and the axle.
Will have to put the belt on the clutch before I install that as well. Sent from my VS950 4G using Tapatalk 2 |

Is that the only driven clutch available? Seems that clutch would just make the overall gear ratio even lower? It looks awesome though.
