Default TXT Clone Swap Questions

Searched and looked the forum over, and couldn't find definitive answer. Can you use the CPP engine cradle for a HF Clone, or is it just strictly for big block? I don't need speed, I need torque low end for hills and such.

Mine is now lifted 6 inches, and would the CPP cradle keep it more level? I saw to get the adapter for the sleeve taper, and possible cut the crank down some. How much to cut the shaft down to?

Any other pitfalls/tips/tricks to know about? I wish there was a EZGO Sticky compiled of the process.

Thanks In Advance!
