Default Gonna Gas It.

Just picked up a 97 EZ-GO Gas for cheap, $ 350.00 it had been setting for
a couple of years.
Got it home & put a battery in , but would not start & no Fire to Plugs. After a lot of Brain Storming I decided to check the wires from the Ignition just for Fun.
Ignition not even hooked up. Hooked it all up & checked Fire - Looked like a Light Display ( Oh Boy ). Changed Gas, Added Lucas Treatment & here we Go.

Been running a 94 Sparky for a few years as my Hunting Ride , Lift Kit,400 amp. Altrax, 2 gauge welding leads for cables & a EMP motor for Torque.
I guess what I'm getting at is what will it take to get this Gasser going ?
Just ordered a Performance Kit for it - Clutch springs & Severe Duty Belt.
Just checked the compression to make sure I'm not wasting my Money.
One is running 162 pounds & one is 168 pounds - is that OK ? 295 Robin
Set the valves at 004 - cleaned the carb. Haven't touched the governor YET

We knew their was good still left in you , the dark side (electric) could not overcome the power of the force.

personally i like the drop axle for the way the stress is distributed but if i do use a spindle lift it would be only from jakes , but thats just my opinion

Got my Performance Kit in ( 2 Springs & Severe Duty Belt ) Removed back clutch - pressed down clutch & removed Keeper , slowly backed off on press to keep it from flying apart No Go - That thing is rusted up so tight I fought with it for 2 days & it never came apart.
So I put the stupid thing back on the cart & moved to the Primary Clutch.
Unscrewed the Bolt holding the clutch on - but there is not enough room to get it out because it hits the frame on the Drivers side P----d Me off.
So I put it back on & Now all I Get out of this Whole Deal is a Belt that works Great & 2 spare Springs.
