Disk brake/wheel compatibility.
Help! I've got a 1999 txt with 4" allsports lift and 10" wheels. I'd love to go with Scotty's rear manual brake kit but not sure if they'll work. Web site states "works with most 10" wheels, 4" backspace required)
My wheels (all sports HD brand) seem to have only 3" backspace measured from hub mount face to outside edge of bead. Anyone try these brakes with allsports wheels? Thanks guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Disk brake/wheel compatibility.
well what I would do is to send a picture of the wheel and a good description to Scotty....go straight to the source.

Re: Disk brake/wheel compatibility.
Send it NUKE and have him use HIS magic powers of observation to see if the brakes will fit..... I can't. I think your posting is the best idea, see if somebody else with the same wheels has tried it or get some very accurate measurements.

other than that.....find some with the brakes on their cart, and have him try the wheels, either they will work or they won't. |

Thanks guys,
If know one has experience with this brake and wheel combo. Then I guess I could always go with 1"wheel spacers to get the wheels out an extra 1" then I'd have the required 4" backspace. I'll check on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

FYI carts unlimited rear disk brake kit worked for me!
For anyone out there with American lift/allsports lift HD brand 10" wheels. THEY FIT!! My 10" wheels measured only 3" backspacing and Scotty's disk brake kit fit perfectly. These are my wheels Hope this helps out someone in future Thanks Scotty! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
