I rate this as more of a maintainer than a charger. It only outputs 5 amps as opposed to 15-20 amps on a conventional charger, and I have been told that our golf cart batteries like a high-amp phase in their charge profile.

Get a DPI charger from Scottyb's Carts Unlimited (site sponsor) and you'll have the best charger money can buy.
