2000 EZGO TXT rebuild - Code name "Vader"
Here is my 2000 EZGO TXT rebuild.
I started with a pretty rough former rental cart. The first thing I did was buy some new shoes. The cart sat way too low in the front and leaned to the driver's side. I replaced all four springs to get it to sit right. I also recovered the seats with some fresh vinyl. (Pay no attention to my shaggy companion) Here she is all stripped, cleaned, and painted. I used my wife's Cricut to make some new lettering for the controls. I added a toggle switch for the radio and a light switch With golf season just around the corner, I decided that repairing and repainting the old body was going to take too long for this build.....so I decided to buy a fresh new body. I'm going to work on the old body in my free time at my leisure for my next build. Here she is all reassembled. I have a headlight and tail light kit to install. I'm going to try to do that this weekend if the weather is nice. Thanks for looking |

Finished cart looks great.........but you CHEATED! Sorry, just wallowing in my own misery (and pile of parts I have yet to get painted, lol).
The top is new as well? Also, ,if you don't mind me asking, what rivet kit did you buy? Did you have all the needed rivets? Matt |

This cart is going to be my daily driver (golfer). The top is a new to me used top. Got a steal on it. I purchased EZGO kit 750102PKG for the rivets. I had everything I needed. Four of the rivets were too big for my gun, so I had to borrow a pneumatic one. |

Got my light kit installed. I was a little nervous cutting into it with the Dremel. A few beers gave me the courage I needed.

did mine yesterday and debated between the dremel and the sabersaw, I went with the sabersaw, I think thats the easiest way to go
