Default Six 6 volts vs Four 12 v

Didn't find anything by searching then again only used a couple of variations in my search. Which is better (in all reasoning) a 36 volt with six 6 volt batteries or a 48 volt with four 12 volt batteries. I am going to sell my gas EZGO and go electric. I just want to drive around the neighborhood, go to the mail box (half a mile away) and occasionally take it on an occasional two day hunting trip. I had gas before because at the ranch I didn't have electricity (just my generator and I didn't want to run it all night recharging). So which would be best for the job I described above. Don't need a hot rod or a lot of speed. Thanks for your help.

The issue may be the 2 day hunting trip. The lower the battery voltage the higher the amp hour capacity. Amp Hours = run time

In two or three days I would probably only put four hours on the cart. Drive to the deer blind and back, 30 minutes max, twice a day. So I think I can get by there. Before this year I would go on ten day hunts, thus the gas cart. Thanks for your into.

I am really not sure. This just came up yesterday. We were having a garage sale in the neighborhood and the kid thought, because I had the cart parked by the garage it was in a garage sale. Well we got to talking and he called his dad and that's when it all started. I saw the kid's dad this morning on my morning walk and they are coming to see the cart this afternoon. I really don't know where to start. Thought I would start at $3000. If you rate at poor, fair, good and excellent then I would rate it at good. Fiberglass is sound. Frame is very good, no rust. Engine has good power. You can see the options in my signature. Why do my picture post sideways? What would it sell for in your neck of the woods? Thanks

The more you say about your hunting trips, the more I think "stay away from the 12v's". Get the bigger (biggest) pack.

That is about the conclusion I have come to. Reading articles around the internet. I remember those old 6 volt car batteries. They were tough hombres.

You are for sure Not looking for 6v car batteries. You are looking specifically for "deep cycle Golf Cart batteries" & accept no substitute.
