Belt squeal/whir

I bought my 2014 EFI cart back in May of this year. I live in a large cart community and Yamaha's are by far the most prevalent brand and gas is by far the most prevalent choice over electric. The cart was bought new here and it only had 140 hours on it when I bought it. It looked and drove like new when I bought it, but it came with 1 key and no service records. I drove it straight to the dealer store to see about getting a second key and they looked it up in there system and told me when it was purchased, by whom, and how much it was. They also shared that the average cart is used here 250 to 300 hours per year. Yet mine was 4 years old with 140 hours on it. I decided to schedule it for routine service since there were no records. Also, I was hearing a little bit of a whir, almost a slight squeal, that seemed to be coming from the drive belt. So, they serviced and checked it out and all was good except they did replace the belt for me. Cart has been and still runs fine but I'm starting to hear that whir again. It hasn't quite risen to a squeal, but it seems a little soon to have already worn a belt. I have put about 100 hours on it since I got it. Is there something that could possibly be adjusted with respect to the belt as opposed to needing to replace the belt again?
