Default Back up warning beeper

I have a 2012 EZGO 2x2 that the reverse warning beeper does not sound when putting cart in reverse
Where physically is this beeper on the cart so I may check it ? I know how to check it via wiring diagram just need to know it’s location on the cart.
Thanks

Which 2+2? E-Z-GO made 2+2s out of more than one platform. I have an RXV 2+2, I've seen TXT 2+2s, and then there are the L4 and S4 types. The wiring varies by type.

The beeper is likely just behind the key switch plate.

Look in glove box you will see 2 rivets. It's behind those 2 rivets

Thanks

I access the area "behind the rivets" from the front of my buggy. There's a plastic "firewall" (in car terms) that is held in place by the emblem. I use wing nuts on my emblem, rather than the one use only fasteners.

Thanks much for the replies. Hoping would’t Have to drill out rivets but so be it
Funny part is my hearing is shot in that spectrum range(years of working in machine rooms lol) but need to fix alarm so wife and friends know when cart is in reverse for safety reasons.

PS kudos to all those that have posted electrical diagrams. They have been very, very helpful in troubleshooting these problems . Finding this site was a god sent
Thanks all 👍

Replace rivets with screws. You'll likely be going there more than once.

The rear beeper on my 2000 TXT is under the weather cover mounted to the contact plate of the directional control switch.

Yes, my 2001 originally had it in the same place, but in later years it was moved.
