2013 G29 Cutting out

New to the forum and could really use some help. Our cart will start and run just fine while under load and going uphill but when you get to max speed the engine starts cutting off.
Any ideas what the cause could be?

If the belt is worn and does not make it all the way to the "high speed" section of the primary clutch, the engine may be over-revving when it hits max speed. If it's an EFI engine, it has a rev limiter and you may be hitting it, and that is causing the cut outs..
