His rear struts are different. The old style. But, yes, anything can be made to work.

You'll need to modify the the mounting attachments to make it work with your existing struts. I can be done cheaply and easily.

I used some 1" square aluminium in the front groove of the Precedent roof then attached 1" angle aluminum to that to make line up with my front struts. You will need to drill new holes in the strut to mount them.

For the rear I had to trim about an inch off of each end of the strut to make them fit, then drilled new mounting holes in the Precedent roof and used the old hardware to attach it.

Been on for a few years now without any issues. It's more rigid than the old style DS roof and good for mounting a light bar without any vibration issues. Plus, I liked the grab handles too.

That's exactly what I would do right there
Also good idea on using the other rear mount points for mounting light pods. Did you do anything about the drain holes?

Those are actually the old style (pre '00.5) that came with the rear seat kit.

I haven't done anything to them yet and haven't needed to yet, granted, I haven't been in any torrential down pours, but I recently made a couple of abs cut outs to fit the openings. I just haven't gotten around to plugging them up.

I've since moved the rear light pods so they wouldn't be in the way of my Kolpin gun holder and put a small light bar across the trailer hitch instead.

Wink Re: Club Car Roof What struts do I need?

I was just messaged by a friend who does carts and they had a set of the Precedent roof struts. These Precedent roof struts look like they are brand new. I just picked them up from my friend who says the struts can be made to work on my cart.
Project will be worked on this weekend I will be looking at this forum to help me with my cart mods. I will post pictures when I get the chance.

Thumbs up Re: Club Car Roof What struts do I need?

Cart Roof update. I have made more modifications to the cart. Roof is now attached. A friend saw the roof and fabricated the mounting brackets. Please excuse the messy garage and cart.

Nice job
Keep in mind those rear struts are rain gutters if you plan on being out in any downpours.

Thank you NCPW!

They are lifted off of the flat part of the bracket for that reason my friend works with aluminum and made the brackets for me. Purposely made it tall enough for me to adjust the space so I can accommodate the flow of water in the rain if I need to I will make adjustments to the amount of space between bottom of struts and brackets.
