Default Cart mods so far

My list is getting shorter. So far:

6" lift
22"tires
camo graphics
off road lights
gun rack

and the latest:

cable upgrade from 8 awg to 1/0 awg.
I know thats overkill but I got a good deal on ebay.

While I was at it I relocated my solenoid/resistor assembly up onto the frame of the cart to make room for more batteries underneath. It hasn't gotten too hot so far, but if it does, I have some of the insulation like they use in NASCAR and the SPACE PROGRAM.

Next...... 36v to 48v conversion, then..... controller upgrade and then..... THE BEAST!

Looks great!

Now get out there and finish the job by dressing all those battery connections with protectant! You know you SHOULD!

I use an aerosol can of Battery Terminal Protectant from Wallyworld. I spray the stuff into the cap of the can and then use a 1/2" throw-away paint brush to apply it. I think it gives a better coating underneath the lugs (where it's most important), and it's less messy.
