Need Help 96 DCS not working

I have my friends 1996 DCS cart at my house. He says it stopped running last week.
I charged the batteries and have 37.5 at the pack.

Ran some test I found for DCS carts
1. 37.5 v at B+
2. 37.5 volts at Pin 10
3. 37.5 volts at Pin 9
4. No volts at pin 5

The solenoid clicks on as soon as I turn the key on. when I depress the acc pedal nothing happens in F or R

37.5 volts across small term on sol when key is on

So the solenoid does not click when you press the gas peddle?

It is already on

Just checked the pedal limit switch.
With key on I have 37.5 at green wire 0 at red wire. push pedal & green drops to 0. If I remove red wire from Switch term I get 37.5 at term with red wire not attached

Forget everything I said about pedal switch. Had meter hooked up to wrong gnd. It works OK. 37.5 at red wire with key on & 37.5 at green wire with pedal depressed.

Still sol on when key turned on & no pedal

Does the solenoid get turned on & off thru the controller?
If it turns on when the key switch is turned on is there a short in the controller?

Got cart running. Broken wire (A2) at motor terminal. Not sure why this caused the solenoid to energize when key was turned on but it did.

Terminal on motor was bent and hard to tighten so I need to see if I can buy a new terminal
