well that would make sense, I found and extra wire on the foor, I bought it cheap, I always wanted to own/restore golf cart, The I got it from said it woulndt run about 6 months ago and he tried a little to figure it out, also it had alot of lights added threw out the years thus all the wires, Now shoukd I try to connect that wire and were exactly is It.

It may not be necessary to connect A2. Go back to my original suggestion in post #7 as a starting point.

sorry it took awhile to get back to you i outside ckeaning it,lol, but the a2 looks connected, also I hit the hill brake and cant release it,lol, any suggestions, I also dont know why when the is in on or off position when i hit gas pedal i hear what sounds like a relay noise click, with key on or off I get a reading of 36 volts from rear of control unit ( back of reverse forward button) I dont know but it seems in off position I shouldnt? now switch from out wire when off I get almost no volts and on the ob get 35/36 so it seems like switch is okay? I am sorry but i need help

these readings are the same with key in either on or off position, front of solenoid around 6v rear I read 12v front, both side posts are 24 closest one to front and 22 rear,
now I moved around f/r control and at one point the rear part on solenoid read 1volt!!

Okay, start from the beginning.

Post the battery pack voltage.
post the voltage going in and out of the key switch.
post the voltage going in and out of the potentiometer micro switch...... when the peddle is pressed, key on cart in gear...

ok, front of peti/micro switch is 22.4v and were rear post is 12v with key off, with key on
and in forward with pedal depressed it reads 12v and 12v, the battery pack voltage is 35.2v, the key reads in (red wire)12v and 4.6ish out green wire with key off. with key on it reads 12/12v. Please help!!! I really thank you!

12v is kinda screwy? Sorry I'm not up to speed, did this cart run? The key should have 36v to be used to activate the solenoid.
