Fuel Pump 1996 Gas EZ GO
1996 Gas EZ GO... Engine does not seem to be getting gas. Took gas lines off fuel pump...no gas flowing from fuel pump to gas lines. What can be the cause and where do I look next? Thanks for help.

Re: Fuel Pump 1996 Gas EZ GO
Hello Gene,
Is the vacuumhose on the vacuumnipples and closing well, so no leaks? Is the litle hole on the vacuumintake on the pump open? It has to be open because its the "exhaust" of the membrane. When its closed, the merane cannot pulse or pulse enough. Yes, than get a new membraneset and build it in. To be sure, also take new hoses or cut the old piece that fits on the nipples away. (to be sure it doesn't leak) When you open the pump / replace the membranes, be sure to work clean. When you don't want to build in new membranes, get a new pump. They are not much more than onley a membraneset. Benno |
