Default Oil/Lift Related Question

I have read and searched the forum on oil levels when lift is installed. It is my understanding that 1.5 Quarts is to be used....Regardless of the lift size, and engine angle? Is this correct? Or should more/less be used in respect to the lift size? I also found in my research, that it is advised to put a new identifying mark on the dip stick as well. Prob. a good idea, if the wife will be using the cart on weekends I'm not around. Any other items to take into consideration? How about a semi, or full synthetic? Which grades have you found to perform the best?

Thanks, Cheesy!

Yes 1 1/2 qts. is the right amount. marking the dip stick is a good idea.
I use Mobil 1, 10w30. It's kinda pricy but worth it in my opinion.

Thanks for the added info derfro..... I think I will upgrade the oil. Not to sure I really need a cooler, as it's primary use will only be at out camper trailer, and down to the boats. A nice option though!

I doubt you'll need a oil cooler, especially running a full synthetic. Be sure to read carefully about the oils, many poses as full synthetics but aren't. Mobil 1, Royal purple, Redline, are true synthetic oil.
