Default 2000 yamaha g16e very slow and reverse buzzer always on

Hey guys,

I am a club car dealer and have been working on club cars for 10 years now. I got a 2000 g16e 36v in for trade that i rebuilt
I put brand new batteries. New cables. Cleaned the motor. Cart runs and drives but is the same speed in forward and reverse and is very slow. The reverse buzzer is always on. Could there be a micro switch that is bad causing the controller to think its in reverse at all times? Any help would be appreciated

Yes. Reverse buzzer switch also feeds the controller. It’s at the fed/red switch

So as i can see the Micro switch is internal on the foward reverse lever. If i disconnect the reverse microswitch completely will reverse not work? If not i may have to replace the whole FR switch

It would be the pink wires I think. And if you disconnect it the cart will work fine, but reverse will also be full speed and no reverse buzzer.
