Sitting for months?
We are about to leave for the summer, golf cart will just sit in the garage.
Is there anything I should do? Four 12V batteries - 48 volt. 2010 Yamaha . House sitter says she could plug it in over night once a month. Would ever 6 weeks be enough? Batteries are only 1 year old and in great shape. Thanks |

Re: Sitting for months?
I have the opposite location going. I spend 5 winter months in Texas and the rest in Minnesota. I have a cart I leave in Minnesota for the 5 months I live in Texas. It is in a garage with a heater set at 40 degrees. I disconnect my battery gauge and make sure the water levels in the battery are good. A neighbor charges them once a month. They are 2 years old and are in new condition yet.
