Default clutch power kit and speed spring

new to the site and my new golf cart, i used to have a yamaha g9 about 6 years ago but never did much to the engine exept tweaked the governor. my question is my golf cart now does not have the clutch and spring upgrade thats about 100-150$, is this a drastic improvement in torque with my lift kit like ive been reading? im having trouble getting up small hills. also does the speed spring help if you have already tweaked the factory governor. thanks

Did you clean and lube the clutches, is the belt pretty new? Both those will kill takeoff/climbing as will a broken engine mount.

Site sponsors Plowman's and CPP both have power kits. Plowman's has several springs depending on your application.

Nice cart, those are some big tires the spring will help but be sure it is the right belt before spending the money.

Dooms, do you run a special belt with your spring kit or a different one from stock? Just asking because I've always just ran a stock belt. Always looking for something better if its out there. I did try a shorter once but it didn't really help with the torque that I could tell and it made the carts top end almost nothing.
