Default Assistance/advice on G2 tires

Hey Guys - my first time on here in about 2 months... long story, but dealing with the VA is not a lot of fun!! :-(
Anyway, my leg is getting worse a lot quicker than we had imagined so it's time for me to start getting serious about getting my cart ready for spring/summer work.
Since today is my birthday I figured I'd treat myself to some tires/wheels if I can find them at a decent price. Hoping for 22" tires on plain steel 10" or 12" wheels - can they be had for about $350? Or should I go with 20" tires on 8" wheels? Either way I'll be lifting about 4".
I don't know which sponsors are nearest me here in E. Washington, but I'd like to deal with one of the good guys from this list.
Or does anybody have any good used sets? Somebody "moving up" to bigger/fancier stuff?

Thanks for any advice,
Pat L.

Thanks for the info guys! Are there any real advantages to going to 12" wheels as opposed to sticking with 8"? If the tires are the same height, 22", the clearance should be the same, shouldn't it? I'm not really planning on any "stump jumping", just running in pastures and old roads.

I love the ride with 8" rims, more sidewall in the tire to absorb some of the terrain the suspension misses.
Also, even brand new, drop about 8oz of slime in each tire to prevent flats plus it helps when running lower PSI which softens the ride that much more.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes Guys! :-) Somehow they don't seem to be as big a deal as they used to... but this was my 57th. I know my in-laws don't like a fuss made about theirs (they're both 85) but they DO appreciate reaching them a lot more!

Now, time to do some more research, make some decisions and get my tires/wheels ordered so they will be here in time for Spring Roundup - chasing cows via Buggy will be SO much better than hobbling around with a cane and being restricted to "gate duty".

Some of the site sponsors give a BGW member discounts so ask about it.
