Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
Prices all seem to be pretty similar -- what adds to the cost is the SHIPPING and that is something they really don't control.
I was hoping for someone withing reasonable driving distance so I could maybe avoid that. All things being equal I'd rather support someone on this list or a very local dealer. |

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
Depending on which lift you go with, you may need to go to at least a 10" wheel.

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
Happy birthday Pat! Wish I could help you out. My only concern is you getting in and out of a lifted car (even a 4" lift) with a bad leg. Maybe some stock 8" "traction" tires would do the job? Good luck on what ever you decide.

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
4" wouldn't be too much, but I would hesitate to go to 6". My right leg is fine, my left gives me problems - can't bend the knee too much and it occasionally "gives". I need to have some lift as the pasture is rough in places and there are occasional rocks hiding in the grass - on stock tires I have trouble with traction on the grass as well as "bottoming out" on the occasional small boulder.
22 x 11 x 8 or 10 is what I'm looking at. 8" might be the easiest/cheapest, but what would I be missing by not going to 10"? Thanks. |

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
I don't know about 4" but a 6" jakes single A arm, won't accept an 8" wheel. Has to be 10" for tie rods.

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
Hmmm. Thanks for the "heads up" re: wheel size/lift kit. Hadn't considered that yet. See why I like this forum? Helpful people is a good thing!

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
OK I've been looking at web sites all over the 'net - sponsors and otherwise. Several places say a 4" lift kit is OK for 20" tires but not for 22" - others say that lift is good for 22" but not taller. Any experience out there re: this issue? I like the 22" tires but not if they won't fit the 4" lift. Physically I can't handle climbing into a cart with a 6" lift.

Re: Assistance/advice on G2 tires
4" lift on a G2 with 22s will be fine.
