Just ordered a 4" lift, 22x11x10 Duro Deserts on white steel wheels. Should arrive in about a week.
Thanks for the advice/help/suggestions. Now I've got to put another coat of "finish" on the cedar flatbed I just put on. Next will be bending some bumpers and brush guards (with mounts for lights, maybe). Also want to leave a spot for a small winch and include a receiver hitch for pulling a small trailer ( or my 12' Livingston fishing boat).

This is late but i really like my 23 10 12 Big Horn 2.0`s . Randy at Wicked carts told me they would ride great and he was right. They are a 6 ply radial. I think I paid about 25 more per tire than the 2 ply tires that are available. AND he is a site sponsor.

I'm sure they are good, but I wanted something a bit less "aggressive" as I live on a pretty decent unpaved road - about 3 miles to pavement either way I go - and don't plan on doing any dune, snow or really wild riding. Most off-road will be pasture/open field or decent "primitive roads" built my my father-in-law with his D-6. Smooth enough for most 4WD rigs and many 2WD PUs.
Like this AM I was called out to help get the 2 bulls back into the pen - they were pushing and fighting each other and went through a 5-wire barb-wire fence, through an electric fence and then through another 4 wire barb-wire fence and were out in the road still fighting! I was able to get around them and keep them from heading too far down the road and then herd them into a pasture. Later I headed over to the irrigation pump and did some work on it and from there went to the main wheel line (irrigation) and got it going again. That is pretty typical of my use.
On wet grass the stock tires just don't have any traction, and dealing with irrigation I am on wet grass a LOT! But I don't want to have too rough a ride on the rare pavement either.
I was really looking for Carlisle All Terrain, but got a good deal on the 6-ply Duro Deserts and the wheels I wanted.

I think you were smart to get the 10" wheels. Now you have the option to go to the 6" lift if you so desire in the future.

Thanks. I think it was the better decision in this case, although 8" wheels had the appeal of being just a bit cheaper and perhaps a bit softer ride because of the sidewalls. I'm just not sure that a soft ride is that important - if it were I'd probably stay on the pavement. :-)

Getting away from a golf cart tire is a huge improvement. Waite till you get them on. Your car will handle like you can't believe. Much better

Larger tires usually ride nicer anyway, because they roll over bumps better. I have trail pro 22-11-8 I been running for 10 years now and can't complain a bit. They don't tear up the yard unless you keep running the same spot, they ride nice on the road, only make a little noise, wear great though I don't hit pavement often, get great traction except they will load up in sticky swamp mud, do pretty good in the sand, great on trails, and if you air them up they are 23 tall at 15lb your cart goes faster lol. I run the fronts at 7-8 and rear 12-15 depending but sometimes carry a load or trailer too. These are 3 ply and ATV rated, they don't flex the sidewalls but don't ride hard I'd say firm.
