Re: plowmans kit questions
Can't answer your questions, but I've thought about doing this.--or getting it done. Price seems right

Re: plowmans kit questions
I try'd the buggies unlimited version of the same thing and it didn't work for going up hills on the trails. If you want 2 wheel drive get the gears your rear axles slide into welded but steering will be harder with low power golf cart engines that can't kick out the back end

Re: plowmans kit questions
I put gears and bearings in a couple transmissions, it was not that difficult. Sure would be nice to have some reviews on that posi unit. I also thought it fit the G9 but that page does not say so.

Re: plowmans kit questions
Installation is not bad. You will have to have some gears sanded/ground to a flat surface. Any headed shop can surface them evenly. You also need a certain oil for rear end. It does come with directions I will check them and see how good they are. Most parts I have bought for golf carts always seem to be a little lacking on directions.
I have the posi in my cart with 26" Swamp foxes and will always spin both tires when off asphalt. |
