Default G16 front end adjustment?

I've put 30+ miles on the cart in the last month or so. Mostly neighborhood streets, but some trail riding--nothing abusive. The steering wheel has never been centered--going straight, the center top of the wheel is at the 10 o'clock position. Now-- or maybe it's always been like this and I never really took notice--the passenger side front tire seems to be pointed to the right when the drivers side is straight.

Is this a simple fix? Just disconnect the tie rod end from the wheel and adjust accordingly? Do I center the wheel and adjust both? Nothing is loose or bent. The lift was on the cart when I bought it.

Thanks-------

Dave, you loosen the 2 nuts on each tie rod, center the steering wheel, then measure from the wheel rim, at the hight of the spindle, first in the front, then in the back. The front should be an eighth inch narrower than at the back. Measure at the rim edge where the tire bead is, but at the hight of the spindle.
I use a a piece of wood, like a 1 x 2 about two feet long, put one end against the wheel, then measure with a tape to the other wheel. makes it easier to measure when your alone. Then turn each tie rod till you get the desired measurement.
Hope this helps Mike

Got the nuts on the inner ends loose. The outer ones won't budge. Sprayed them and will wait. Just don't want to break anything

Yeah--I got them loose--I guess the "L" on the nut would be a clue. Didn't see it till after. It appears that the tie rod on the right side is bent. Can't see it until you turn it. I think I'll replace both.

Heres a tip I learned, dont worry about the steering wheel, make sure the pitman arm is perfectly straight up and down and adjust toe from there. Once you get the toe set, if your steering wheel is still off, remove the cover and loosen the nut, bump the back of the steering wheel with a rubber hammer and re-clock to get it straight. I tried for hours to get mine adjusted and it would never work out, I finally ran both tie rods all the way in, centered the pitman arm and adjusted from there, worked perfectly.

I turn the wheel to each lock and then to the exact center, that is where it is at. I don't run much toe though, it was too touchy on the pavement. With my raised A arms the way I made my lift it is easy to set....if the front drops on the road its toed out, if the front humps up on the road its toed in lol. On a normal cart toe in can make it sensitive at high speeds, I like closer to straight. Also how much weight on the cart can change them a little. That one has the driver straight and pass turned out because the one with more weight on it will steer and the other will scrub the tire off. It is easiest to loosen all the nuts and set the toe the way you like it, then turn both the same amount to get the wheel centered without moving the toe.

I called Everything Carts to check on the tie rod assy. They said the part was in stock, so I made the trip to Martinsville--a 55mi ride down Rt58. I guess there was a communication gap--I was talking about the rod assy, and they thought rod ends. Anyway, the rod assys were ordered today--with a discount and free shipping because I drove all the way to Mville--said I would get them tomorrow. I'm happy. If I ordered over the phone, I'd have gotten the wrong parts.
