Swing arm bushings? Actually that has a center mount in front of the engine right? Sounds like the whole cradle is moving if the axle is not.

Re: how do i Tighten a G16 rear end
i have not took that into consideration, ill have to check that out when i get some better weather
i no as of now the cradle is held in the center of the frame "the front" by little more than a 1/2" thick steel brace/bracket, If that is moving would it be a good idea to weld it in place ??? |

No, Nitro, replace the bushing. Swing arm needs to move with suspension.

Re: how do i Tighten a G16 rear end
If you haven't modified the front mount when you put the lift in, then putting the swing arm on that angle with the old swing arm bushing, the old bushing has probably failed due to the new angle you have forced it to conform to and broken. Replace the bushing at that front pivot point, and you should be good to go.
Could be wrong, but I think they are about $19.00. Check out sticky on parts at top |
