Heres what I built using Home Depot angle iron, chain, a piece of steel plate, some Sunbrella, recycled couch foam & a surfboard deck pad. I have a full cage so there was nothing off the shelf available.

I made 1 for the ezgo I used to have. I used 3/4 box tubing, 1/2 in plywood. I cut the plywood, used some foam rubber for padding and covered the plywood before I installed on the frame I built. I took a piece of exh pipe and had it built for a bumper. It stuck out enough to set your feet on, and I used alum diamond plate on top for looks and it kept your feet from sliding. I made arm rest and covered to match seat. Sorry no pics.
