Trying to order an ignition coil for a 96 cc and they ask if its an FE. How do i find out if it is or not? Can you tell from the serial number if so how? Thanks.

Re: FE?
It will be marked on the fan shroud with a sticker. Your CC should be an FE290 if a DS.

Re: FE?
No DS is the body style. There should be a sticker on the shroud that gives all the info about the motor. It will be on the drivers side. I'll see if I can find a pic to help.

fe is the overhead engine. or the spark plug is at an angle on top. the old flat head desighn with the sprk plug on top is the kd version(non fe version)
