Default Re: 99 TURF-II reverse question.

ckiguy,

That would be great. I had never even seen a Turf II before I saw this one and bought it. The people are moving from a large place to a condo and have years and years of accumulation they had to get rid of. They finish up today and I will get the cart tomorrow.

Does yours have the power lift on the dump bed?

Do you have any manuals?

Why are some fo these called Turf II and others are called Carryall, and others called Turf II Carryalls?

I also have a question about adding an inverter to the cart and wonder if you have any information that would be helpful? I know that truckers often add an inverter to have some of the comforts of home in their cab.

Thanks,

Clem

work the biggest inverter i would recommend is a 200 watt. only because of the 30 amp starter/genny on it. i use one on mine at times, it will box the light down when driving at night. i had christmas lights on it and they only worked with the inverter when the engine was running. when it was trying to start, or starter running with out motor, no power. the inverter would beep and yelll due to lack of power. then when the power got ok, it would stop beeping.
i do not have the power lift, but i have had the bed full of boulders, and have had no issues dumping it.
add another name to you list! carryall turf II xrt!

Thanks ckiguy.

Your picture answers one of my many questions. The bracket on your cart is different from the one on mine.

My cart doesn't shift properly because the bracket that holds my shifting mechanism is broken on the left. The first 2 pictures show the broken bracket and the 2nd picture shows a bracket that someone made to try to hold the shifter cable. It isn't doing anything the way it is. I need to figure a way to hold the shifter cable. Does anyone have an extra bracket I could get?

Is there a place that shows an illustrated parts breakdown so I can identify the parts I need?

I'm going to start another thread about my dump bed that clunks when I hit a bump and is hard to lift up. I think it's the bushings on the hinges.

I picked up my cart today so now I can have "fun" getting it into shape.

I appreciate your helping me, and others also helping me, with my "new" cart.

Clem

Here's an exploded view with part numbers!

FNR Shifter Base - CC #1016342 (#17)

ckiguy's shifter base IS the same as yours (and mine, and most others)... except, yours is broken!
There maybe someone here that has a used one, but, a CC dealer may be your best bet if you want it right away!

And by the way... the spring on the F/R lever on the transaxle doesn't belong there, and has got to go!
(it's a "rigged" setup to keep it from popping out of forward!)

Don

Thanks for the IPB. I like pictures. :-)

I'm not in a big hurry but would like to get a bracket one pretty soon. I can push the cart backwards when I get in a tight but would rather just use the shift lever.

I have a bunch or projects going so I can be a little patient if someone who reads this has one that they will let me be the new owner of.

Do you have a similar IPB for the hinges on the dump bed of a 1999 Turf II? I hope it is only bushings that mine needs and I hope they are available. Or, maybe I will have to make them on my lathe if I know the material to use.

Thanks,

Clem
