Tire Rub & Alignment
I have a 2003 Club Car Turf 2 I have put a 6" lift kit with 10" wheels I have two problems the first one is the tire is hitting the under carriage of the cart on the driver side when I make tight turns. The second issue is how do you align the fires after you install the lift kit. Thanks in advance for any assistance in the post. Harry

Re: Tire Rub & Alignment
Personally, I think spacers may cause more of a problem depending on where the tire is rubbing, and how large the tire is!
My tire rubbed (w/spacers) on the plastic air box snorkel mounted inside the drivers side wheel well, and I had to take them off! As for aligning the front end, it all depends on which lift (spindle/A-arm) you put on, and normally, the kits have instructions on how to align them after installation. |

Re: Tire Rub & Alignment
Mine is a spindle lift and there were no instructions with it what I did was put a square on the floor and on the tire and that is how I squared them up. If anyone has some recomendation pleast post them. Thanks Harry

Re: Tire Rub & Alignment
After I installed my spindle lift I got some tire rub. They only rub at full turn so my fix is going to be by adding a mechanical stop. I may lose a little turning radius but not like I am out racing this thing on a tight rock course or something

Here's Club Cars instructions for Camber and Toe in: Note: click on one of the thumbnails, then "right click" on the pic, click on "save image as" and save them to a picture file, then you should be able to open them up in that file to expand and read them! |
