1993 Club Car DS - Govenor or Rev-Limiter Setting/Issue
Hello all!
Recently purchased a 1993 Club Car DS and I have noticed the governor isn't set properly or is disabled maybe. I'm new to carts so not real sure. Here is the issue: When going with throttle fully down and you hit top speed the cart then cuts out, then of course picks up again after the RPMs come down is my guess. I'm guessing from reading that this is the Rev-limiter kicking in and not the govenor. It is a real hard release and begin again. Not at all smooth. Am I in the ball park? Sounds like I need to reset/adjust governor? Point me in that direction? Thanks, Mike |
