Yamaha G16 rear end
Recently bought a Yamaha g16 with the rear end disassembled. There are 2 gears that thread into each other. The larger of the 2 has some significant gashes in some of the teeth. Are these gears stripping a common problem? Was thinking about just getting a high speed gear kit to replace the gear. Anyone ever tear into one of these rear ends? If so how hard of a job is it?
