No Go Club Car
Can anyone help me? I have an older Club Car and when you push the gas it does nothing. It looks like thing are moving under the seat but its just dead. Battery is good I checked that.

Re: No Go Club Car
Is it in Forward or Reverse? Remember they won't start or run unless they are in gear. Otherwise check to make sure it's not in service mode (little plastic knob on under the seat)- then it will only start and run in neutral. Otherwise it's probably a microswitch. I had one of mine go bad this spring- same symptoms. They aren't much from the club car dealer- like 8$ apiece- there are 4 of them. I just replaced them all. Also replaced the starter solenoid. (My cart is pretty old so it was cheap insurance) Check the wiring diagrams at the top of the page in the stickies for further information.

Re: No Go Club Car
Try putting it in reverse
You will know if its in reverse from the reverse signal. Still wont do anything, follow northerndoc's suggestions. |

Re: No Go Club Car
Thanks is there any way to check the micro switches? I assume they are the little switched that move when you change from forward to reverse.

Re: No Go Club Car
You can check the microswitches by using a multimeter and doing a continuity test, the microswitch will have a closed and open position across the contacts if working properly
