What size battery cables do you have?

big tires = lost torque = lower speeds on any hills. a speed magnet cant fix that. stock controller is small, no magnet fixes that either. big tires requires a $ investment to perform as you wish it will. it was designed to play golf, not to have a offroad setup put in front of it. it has a puny controller. like a 4x4 truck with a V-6 (NOT a "twin turbo" V-6).

Just from playing wih it. Popped a handset on it and monitored reactions from inputs. And yes high = on = B+

FWIW: The "Personality Select" switches are shown on the schematic in the service manual, but no mention of which switch(s) to close to get which operating mode.

I am not sure what size cables. How do I tell and I will look and see. It's a 2012 48V and everything was factory but I have upgraded to larger wheels.

p.s. Dealer did program at highest speed for me and then we installed larger wheels which made a big difference. I am hoping that a magnet would get me from top speed of 22 up to 24-25.

Johnnie, I just saw your post about the magnet. Do you think it will work on a 2012 txt 48V? Recap.... it's already programmed for top speed by dealer and I have also added larger wheels. Top speed right now is around 22 but I would love to get around 24-25 mph.

Yes it will work but it wont add torque to your cart. You prob have 6v factory cables. I went from 19 to 23 stock tires. Id imagine you def hit 24/25.
