What can I do now
I have a 2006 ez go pds lifted 22" tires, new batteries, alltrax 400a controller, 4 gauge wire, hd solenoid the motor is stock. Im loosing alot of speed going up hill. The cart runs about 22mph on flat ground and about 26mph downhill. When you start up a hill it drops sigificantly to around 10 mph. I turned the turbo boost off per alltrax. What can I do now?

48 volts....you wont go back. Not that I recommend this but I've seen folks "test" 48 by sticking 12 more volts in the bagwell or on the right side under the seat just to get a feel for it. (with a controller capable of handling 48 volts)

Re: What can I do now
48 volts will maintain hill speed without upgrading the motor?

Re: What can I do now
Well, that depends on how steep and how long the hill is...
You definitely won't get 20+ mph going up steep hills, but you won't notice it lag down really slow. The good thing is that the upgrade will increase your top speed/torque/distance all by 25-30% I did it and LOVE it! |

Re: What can I do now
It is an electric cart, it is going to slow down when you increase the load. Just like the can opener when you put the can in it
It just doesn't have to crawl. |

Re: What can I do now
if your controller can handle 48v that's about it. might think about upgrading the fnr switch tho. scotty has a good upgrade for this.
