Ezgo rxv 2012 will not move
Hi, tonight our cart will not move. The batteries read 48v. All of the fuses by the run switch are good. As soon as I turn the key the brake lights come on, I don't recall this happening before. I hear the solenoid kick on like it usually does when I turn the key but nothing. I even put it on the mode and I can't push it. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you got a bad brake. Take the plastic cover off above the controller follow the instructions under cover and see if brake will release.
Also make sure your brake pedal is fully upright toward the driver before turning key on. |

Re: Ezgo rxv 2012 will not move
My break motor reads 28 ohms, the plug to the brake motor has no voltage to it. The solenoid reads 12+ volts on all terminals. I removed the brake motor and the brake lights still come on. I can now roll the cart because the brake motor is loose.
