Default 1982 ds fnr

1982 DS stock resistor 36v. Cart had the wrong (newer) FNR switch installed and somebody melted all sorts of stuff. Motor works and I'm rebuilding this thing, first time working on this vintage (1980-1983.5).

I have what I think is the correct FNR with 2 blades or whatever the proper term is on the side. Every diagram I can find has what looks like 3 blades sticking out the side. Not only I can't find one of these for sale I can't even find a photo of one.

Anybody ever worked on one of these? Thanks.

I've got the whole "early alltrax" weinie roaster, still wired together from my '81 if it helps. I think I disconnected the heavy cables though,,,

Should have one conductor on the passenger side top and two from the bottom. The one on the bottom right is for reduced voltage when reverse is selected.

First photo is what I have. Second is 1980-1983.5 diagram. Are there 3 prongs/tabs on it? The center one on the right looks bent back on a 45 degree angle? Is this right?

Those 2 do look different. Have you asked TahoeDawg? He probably has access to a schematic for your specific one....

Not yet. Hate to trouble him with something I should be able to figure out like this. I swear I don't think it would/should have 3 bars coming out the side. But my boy and a friend his age (both with better eyes than mine LOL) say it looks like a third bar coming out.
