I don't think its necessary to have cell signal for the app to work. Certainly not for the bluetooth to stay connected.
You may want to get in touch with Lester tech support directly after the holiday weekend. There may be some internal issue with the charger.

I'm tending to agree with you Fairtax. It was plugged in all night with no charging at all. I think there may be an issue with the charger itself. I'm obviously parked until I can talk to Lester next week

If the yellow charge indicator was blinking it should have been doing something.
The Blue LED should be ON to indicate AC power is present and the charger is ready for charging.

Can you try a different AC outlet?

I suppose we can also double check how and where the charge wires are connected both in the charger, and in the cart.
Is there any dirt or corrosion in the charge receptacle?
Are the pins on your charge cord clean? Is it a new cord or old one off your old charger?
Where is the Black wire from the receptacle connected on the cart? At the Controller or the pack negative? Are there any crimp connectors or wire splices in-between?

Is the main charge lead connected to the pack positive? Is that clean and free of corrosion?

If you plug in the DC cord only, check for pack voltage reaching the charger. Wiggle the charge cord all around and the plug in the receptacle and make sure the voltage stays the same and doesn't jump around or drop out. If it does, that would indicate a loose connection.

You can also rule out a connection issue in the charger cord by connecting the charger directly to the pack with a few feet of 10Awg wire with the proper sized eyelet terminals on the ends.

Wow. That's a lot to absorb lol. I'm ordering a new DC receptical from Revolution, but that will be next week also. I'm wondering about my DC plug anyway. I'll check some of these other things today and let u know. Thanks a lot

The black wire appears to be going to the controller as best I can trace and tell. The red is to pack positive. All connections are new. Just installed new batteries

Fairtax4me, I've started another charging cycle to see if anything happens. The charger is plugged directly into the wall outlet. The DC receptacle wires are fairly loose and I have ordered another one. I'm hoping it's that simple. What I don't understand is the charger was working fine till I put new batteries in the cart this week. I've updated the profile in the app for the new batteries, but for whatever reason, the charger isn't talking to the batteries. I can't tell how the pack negative is tied into the controller, but would it be wrong to move the negative from the controller to the pack negative and try that ? I'm not sure how that would work, if at all

Yes, if the charge negative is not connected straight to the pack I would try moving it to the main pack negative and see if that changes anything.
Is it setting any faults for charging?

When you updated the battery profile did you change any other settings? Did you make any changes to the system profile?

What batteries did you get?

Ok. I'll attempt to get to it and see if I can move it. That's probably tomorrow's project lol. No faults showing on the charger and I only changed the battery profile. Actually the smart charger did that for me when I plugged in the new battery info.

You don't really need to disconnect it from the controller. Make a new length of 10ga wire and a 1/4" ring terminal to attach it at the fuse block on the receptacle. And use a 5/16 ring terminal on the other end to attach to the pack negative terminal. Should only need to be about 18" long.
