I paid more attention to your throttle and torque settings, not sure what I did yesterday, I thought I copied them, but it didn’t work, so I tried again today, and it works great—- fast and lots of power going uphill.

Toolkit doesn't monitor MPH, it monitors RPM.

However, if the measured tire height and differential gear ratio is known, the cart's MPH can be calculated from the motor's RPM.

Here is a chart for carts with 12.44:1 gears. Just divide the RPM by the number in the far right column to get MPH.
----------------
Not having RPM info displayed on monitor is a significant issue. PDS cart won't reach its maximum performance without speed sensor working. RPM data is used to mitigate field mapping for top speed, torque and Regen braking.

Enable Speed Limit box has to be checked, as shown on attached screen print. Max RPM setting ought to be 6000 or 6500.

Ok—- Thanks, guess I’m used to seeing mph, I’ll check when I get back home—- it works good now, a lot faster, and no problem with hills— I’ll try and get the rpm info .

Hi Johnnie I did as you said and hit the enable speed limit button, it still didn’t show the rpm’s and the cart was back to slow and having trouble on the slight hill I was testing it on, any ideas what might be wrong—- I thought it was worked out —— thanks again for your help

I’ll check the speed sensor wire, I seem to recall it wasn’t a very tight connection at the controller

Not showing RPM is why the cart is a dog when speed limit is enabled.
Disabling it will probably get it back to where it was, but without the speed limiting enabled you are not getting the full performance from the XCT.

Not showing RPMs means the speed sensor is bad or not connected. Gray cable from back of motor.

If you thought the cart was running good, you're in for a pleasant surprise when you get the no RPM issue fixed.

Maybe it isn't fully seated. I had trouble getting the plugs to seat properly when i installed my XCT.
