Default Whats this for?

Whats the little screw at the top of the steering column for? Is it for tightening something? I replaced my steering wheel thinking I'd get rid of a slight rattle/knocking I thought was coming from my stock steering wheel but it didn't....its only noticeable on bumpy terrain. Any suggestions. In the pic its the little screw at the left end.

There is a plastic bushing at the top of the column. The screw holds it in place.

I'm a new member- just bought a 2006 EZ GO Electric and have a rattle/knocking in the steering on bumpy terrain. Did you figure out how to stop it?
