Default Replacing battery tray

It appears that the way this thing is installed that I would have to remove the body to get to the two screws that hold it down on front?

Anyone else see the same thing? Know of a way to do it wihtout taking the body off?

I am thinking of getting a cut off wheel and cutting it off at those brackets and weld in the new one.

i had my body off when i took mine out. i had to cut the bolts out and i just used bolts with nuts on the back cause mine was rusted and the threads were all messed up. i have seen the one on ebay just didnt have the money to buy a new one if you can weld its cheaper to build one. just my opinion. good luck
