22" or 23" tires
Will I have any problems clearing 23" tires on a 1995 Medalist with the 5" drop axle lift? I am trying to decide between the 22" or 23". Of course I want to go as big as practical. I may use the 6" spindle lift from Jakes. It looks really good IMO. HAs anyone ever used the Black Widow tires. I want something that is fairly aggressive, but not like Vampires or anything. Any suggestions?
Thanks, David J. |

Re: 22" or 23" tires
I'd suggest either Interco Swamp Lites or ITP Mud Lites. Both have great traction and drivability.

Re: 22" or 23" tires
Madoc1, Sounds good. The lift I am looking at says that it lengthens the wheelbase by 3"
It pushes the front axle out. It is a 5" drop axle lift and claims that it will clear 27" tires. I don't plan on going that big but it should definitely clear 23" tires with offset rims. Thanks. |

Have you upgraded the power to handle those monsters?

Re: 22" or 23" tires
SpoiledRotten, I don't plan on running 27" tires. I will be running 23" tires. The lift is supposed to be able to clear 27". I just purchased quite a few upgrades. I have another post about a 1995 Medalist.
