Question about battery charge
I am new to owning a cart and have a question about determining the amount of charge in the batteries. I have a 1995 36volt system. How do you determine the amount of charge left in the batteries? can you take a volt meter and take a reading across the 2 contacts where you plug in the charger? Thanks for any help.

Re: Question about battery charge
Yes, you can. You can also lift the seat and go directly to the pack where the cart connects to it for a possibly more accurate reading. they are the 2 posts furthest to the passenger side of the cart. One positive and 1 neg. Refer to this chart (print it and post it in your garage) .... the wet cell batteries have no memory. They want to be in the top 50% of their charge capacity all the time according to the Trojan Battery Website.
