i have a 1997 dcs ezgo and my question is do you have to have the resister on the big lugs on the seloniod? i have one that burned the small resisters off now the cart will only run a little then stop,cut the tow/run switch off and wait a few then it does the same again

The stock DCS resistor is actually a small resistor board. Not a single resistor like all other carts.
