Re: ***cart build for wounded soldier***
Theres a lot to manage in a project like this...logistics is a part, another would be ensuring that every hand that touches the cart, every contributor (no matter how big or small) of time, money, parts, labor...whatever gets recognized. I'm a Veteran and I'm sure that you would all agree that if GABulldog is not in a position to finish what he started...We will carry him to the finish line if necessary.

Scooter B
We wouldn't be able to do this without you man...I hope to hear from GABulldog but if not we'll pick up the ball and run with it. You'll be tapped to be on the board...there will be plenty to do. As long as we only commit to what we can do and as long as we do what we say we will do...should be fun. I'll re-read all the posts for this topic over the weekend and start a list of everyone who has offered to get involved and start contacting them via IM. Then amongst ourselves we'll pick a board, decide what each person has said that they can do in terms of donating time or materials, relaying the cart, etc. We'll pick a point person for interacting with Wounded Warriors and set up a method for regular communications amongst all of us involved so that everyone involved is in the loop at all times with production, delivered parts, needed parts, success stories and those occassional failures. Look...I'm excited about this. I have since this topic came up gotten involved with this organization and continue to be blown away by not just their efforts, but with what they are actually getting done for these troops. |
