Trailering a Club Car

Hi all! Total newb here....
I just purchased a 2000 electric CC from a neighbor. I want to take it to a shop north of Denver to do some mods and check it over. Lift, lights, ect.

My dumb question is how and where do I tie the cart down to the trailer? I can tie down bikes, atv's, skid loaders, you name it. Just some suggestions if you don't mind.

i run a strap across the floor on mine where your feet sit.......also the rear axle or on the front end where that little do dad with the hole is...........lots of places to tie them down we all do it differently.....................

Tom, I also see the little do dad below my headlight but also see something that is connected to the right side of the front suspension as well, not sure what you call it. Are these two pieces for towing the cart for steering purposes?

The front TOW hook is in the center and bolted to the frame, it is not part of the steering & it does not move... I use one strap forward from this tow strap loop and 2 straps in the rear simply hooked on the leaf springs in front of the shackles or hooked on the shackle.


I haul carts daily this way.

Thanks for the pic and suggestions. To hook in that location, I'm thinking about how short the strap will have to be.

Don't hook it there. This is where you will have a tow hook eye, blue arrow I'm trying to figure what the arm that sticks out on my pic above is for.

The arm is for connecting a bunch of carts together like a train, as golf course do....

When I trailer mine, I just tie it down almost like a bike. I strap to both bottom corners of the windshield frame a 2 rear points on my rear seat from and ratchet them all tight enough to compress the springs and shocks enough so that it doesn't bounce too much but not so tight it won't move at all. Have trailered mine that way several times and never had a problem.

Make sure your windsheild is folded down. Also I tape my windsheild folded down on both sides to make sure the wind does't mess with it.
