low profile tire question
I have a 95 clubcar ds amd i am not going to lift it. Can i run a 205 50 10 tire without any modifications?and do i need a 10 rim with an off set or not.i know i will need to upgrade my rear leaf springs due to the rear seat we just added.

Re: low profile tire question
I found a set of used but great shape 12s with low profile tires at a great price. The rims were offset and i asked if they would clear. The shop mechanic jacked up a showroom cart and installed the rims. They rubbed. An axel extender could be installed to remove the problem on the front end. I purchased a set of non offset 12s and low pros and there is no rubbing problems. The overall width of the new combos are less than 1 inch greater. I also chose 6 inch wide rims instead of the original 7 inch.
Hope this helps. |

Re: low profile tire question
You should fine with 10" wheels and no lift.

Re: low profile tire question
Here is the wheels I am going to get. They have a 3+4 offset. They will work on your cart as well.
