Just for kicks use your Digital Volt Meter and test it to a part of your frame, of course with your Positive test lead on you main POS battery terminal, especially Precedent owners and especially Precedent owners with lights or turn signals. Mine can equipped with CC factory lights and turn signals and there WAS voltage to the frame. I found that the actual turn signal assembly was delivering/grounding the frame through the steering shaft. Wrapping tape where this assembly went reduced the grounding voltage by an extensive amount... BUT... there is still some there. So based on that I would first remove the Main NEG... then the Main POS terminal, of course after placing the Tow/Run in Tow position.

If you cart has ZERO voltage on your digital meter then there would be absolutely no difference which was removed first.

I will just remove the main neg first then main pos. When reconnecting I will do main pos first then main neg. Just seems to be the best way from a safety standpoint.

guys that may work on a cart with the run tow switch but carts without when i would try and hook the main pos. last .......big sparkage.......no damage but enough sparks to catch my attention....if you hook the pos up then the neg. last no sparks at all.......just my observations.....always the main. neg last........................................
