Default 36v to 12v converter

Does anyone know where i can purchase a 36v to 12v converter/reducer other than online?? I have attempted to use just two batteries but have had no luck getting my lights to work. So i'm hoping that by going with the converter they will actually work. Don't really want to buy it online though....

Any help is appreciated

Thank you

buy it at your local golf dealer.

Sevcon ones that I have used are junk, they seem to go bad after a year or two.

The Curtis 1400 is nice, and has been bullet proof, but tad on the more expensive side. I've bought mine off globaleproducts.com

You just have to size your DC-DC converter to your load appropriately.

I got a pretty sweet deal on ebay,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-DC-Conver...item5645bfba28

they had some cheaper for less amps, but I have this one in a golf cart powering a 12v light kit off the 36v system.
