Default Severe Hesitation Gas EZGO 2008 TXT 290CC

Found that my severe hesitation is after the engine warms up, about 2--3 minutes. I can put the pedal to the metal when it's cold, and no hesitation whatsoever. But after warm up, the severe hesitation begins. I'm beginning to think there is an internal spring somewhere causing this. Any ideas?

Fuel starvation would cause this as well. Make it happen again and loosen your fuel tank cap and see if it makes a difference. The vent hole might be plugged. I have also seen the brass breather on the fuel pump plug up and not allow the pump to "put out" full fuel pressure.
Also a plugged fuel filter or I have seen fuel lines to close to the engine heating up and vapor locking.
Something in the bottom of the tank causing an obstruction to the pick up tube.
It just sounds fuel related to me.

Opened the fuel tank cap, and drove it but the hesitation was still there. I noticed the fuel filter was not full of fuel, but only about 80%. Haven't checked the fuel lines yet or your other recommendations. Should mention when going up hills, it also hesitates. What gets me is the only time it doesn't hesitate is while the engine is cold.
