Dash panel Removal
I have a 2010 electric EZGO cart. How do I remove the dash panel? It has a light switch on the left side and the key switch on the right side I need to put an amp meter in the center. I have the switch.

Re: Dash panel Removal
This one of Scotty's highly polished ones, but I think this is what you're talking about. If it is, just drill out the two rivets and remove it. FIRST disconnect the primary negative lead.

This isn't even close to what I need to know. I'll take a picture of it in the morning and have my wife post it The dash is sort of oval ,not to large.

Re: Dash panel Removal
What type of cart is it? If it is an RXV which has an oval dash there are four star screws where the dash wraps under. Get down at eye level and you can see all 4 across the bottom of the dash. I believe they are T-25. Remove them and the face of the dash will come off allowing you to run wires.

Re: Dash panel Removal
I think T30 screws. Are you getting the stock EZ-Go gauge ? If it has the rectangular light switch you can take the easy route and order the entire dash for like $30. Part number 608864

The guage is 2- 1/8th inches round It has snap on wiring, and it looks like a fuel guage only it has amp guage stamped on the back. And I got it from BU for $49.95.
